Oti is the indie rock project of singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer Otmar Taber. Described by its creator as “maximalist pop”, the project’s studio recordings are characterised by rich arrangements and unconventional song structures, while the live versions take on a more intimate form, performed either as a trio or solo.
On 30 October, Oti will release the EP Samospev independently, marking the most complete expression of the project’s artistic vision to date. It follows the previously released singles Barve, So You Say and What If. Alongside his work with Oti, Otmar is also a classically trained composer and a member of Leyre and the Moonrooms.
For this show, he will be joined on stage by Luka Dobnikar on bass and Aleš Kozelj on drums.
Slatkor is the solo project of experienced Slovenian drummer and vocalist Zlatko Djogić, known for keeping time and turning up the volume in bands such as Prismojeni profesorji bluesa, AUTO and Dear Annie. This is his first solo venture, exploring different shades of pop, hip-hop and other unusual genre combinations.
Slatkor is a genre-bending adventure from a bedroom producer and vocalist whose head is constantly overflowing with ideas — especially at night.

“Još Gori are already well beyond the boundaries of the regional music scene — or perhaps it would be more accurate to say: above it.” Zoran Stajčić, Ravno do dna
“It’s difficult to compare Još Gori to Goribor, but it’s a comparison that almost makes itself, so I’ll dare to say in the end: Još Gori are even better.” Boris Abramović, Music Box
Following sold-out shows in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Zagreb and Škofja Loka, one of the most talked-about new bands from the region is coming to Ljubljana for the first time — Još Gori.
The band was born at the intersection of uncompromising poetic force and bold musical experimentation. Their sound is a powerful blend of hypnotic, dark atmospheres and raw, deeply felt lyricism. Behind the band are three well-known figures from the independent music scene. At the forefront is Aleksandar Stojković – ST, legendary frontman and driving force behind the cult band Goribor, whose dark poetic vision is once again hypnotising audiences. Building sonic landscapes around his unmistakable voice and lyrics are brothers Alen and Nenad Sinkauz — acclaimed musicians, composers, instrumentalists and producers known for their fearless exploration of sound and award-winning film scores. We also remember them well at Gala Hala as members of the unforgettable East Rodeo.
Još Gori will take the stage at Gala Hala for the first time in front of a Ljubljana audience, presenting their debut album Raj na zemlji.

Punkrockers, save the date! A fast and furious night is coming your way, tailor-made for anyone who lives for a little unconventional exercise and singing along with the bands from the front row. At the end of November, the walls and stage of Gala Hala will once again be shaking to the sound of fast, loud rhythms brought to us by three representatives of the punk rock scene.
Lion’s Law are considered one of the strongest names on the contemporary Oi! and street punk scene. With their distinctive mix of anthemic choruses, raw energy and relentless live performances, they’ve conquered stages around the world and played some of the biggest punk and Oi! festivals out there. Their sound combines the traditions of street punk with modern production and undeniable stage charisma.
Hailing from Guadalajara, MESS have become one of the hottest names on the international Oi! and street punk scene in recent years. Drawing inspiration from classic Oi! and UK82 punk, they turn it all into raw, melodic and ridiculously infectious street anthems. With releases on Pirates Press Records and shows across Europe and the Americas under their belt, they’ve built a reputation as a band you absolutely need to experience live.
Breakout have been spreading chaos and the energy of the French punk scene since 2010. Their aggressive and uncompromising sound draws heavily from UK82 classics as well as bands like The Casualties and Total Chaos. They’re known for wild shows, unstoppable energy and proper punkrocker performances that always leave the audience thoroughly worked out—and heading home with slightly hoarse voices.
Come shake the dancefloor!

Remember the three excellent Calibro 35 shows at Zeleno Sonce’s funk nights? One of Italy’s most renowned instrumental collectives of the past two decades — who apparently only drink Johnnie Walker Black Label — are returning to the Gala Hala stage exactly ten years later!
Formed in Milan in 2007, Calibro 35 draw on the sound and aesthetics of cult Italian films from the ’60s and ’70s, particularly crime and action movies, and transform them into their own explosive mix of funk, jazz, soul, psychedelia, rock and electronics. They’ve toured the world, opened for MUSE in Milan and, this year, performed at the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics. Along the way, they’ve collaborated with a long list of renowned musicians and developed a cult following well beyond Italy — their music has even been sampled by Dr. Dre and Jay-Z.
Their sound is organic, cinematic and packed with heavy grooves. Over nearly two decades, they’ve released a string of acclaimed albums, including Traditori di tutti (2013), S.P.A.C.E. (2015), Decade (2018), Momentum (2020) and Nouvelles Aventures (2023). In 2022, they paid tribute to Ennio Morricone, one of the key inspirations behind the band, with the two-part project Scacco al Maestro.
And this time, film will once again take centre stage. Calibro 35 composed the original score for director Francesco Zippel’s documentary Ellroy vs. L.A., exploring the dark and complicated relationship between legendary American crime writer James Ellroy, author of The Black Dahlia and L.A. Confidential, and his hometown of Los Angeles.
The film premiered at the Rome Film Festival and this year won the Nastro d’Argento for Best Documentary in the Film, Entertainment and Culture category.
For the film, Calibro 35 cooked up exactly what they do best: cinematic crime funk packed with dark atmospheres, hypnotic grooves and urban psychedelia, where Ellroy’s noir L.A. collides with the band’s trademark Italian poliziottesco sound. The soundtrack will be released this autumn by Record Kicks, and their December show at Gala Hala will be largely dedicated to this new material.
The first half of the concert will take us deep into Ellroy’s dark L.A.; the second will bring us back to some of Calibro 35’s old favourites.
Zeleno Sonce is heading to Milan. Mamma mia!
