BELLE DE JOUR

Fejzo
Woo-D
Monday

A time capsule will eject us somewhere between Yugoslavia and Europe, between Cockta and Coca-Cola, between Videosex and Nirvana, between Ponterosso and the first H&M—carrying us all the way to early Metelkova and Bikofe, if only the night isn’t too short.

We’ve changed countries, currencies, television, shops, fashion, and music. We went to our first concerts and first parties, drank Belle de Jour, Štok-cola, bambus cocktails and cheap liters of everything, and fell in love with all the wrong people while wearing questionable hairstyles. From Poletje v školjki and carefree childhoods in Yugoslavia, through MTV, IRC, Napster, Monkey Island, MSN, Ryanair, RedTube, IKEA, and Nokia 3310—we’ve lived through it all.

For one night only, Fejzo, Woo-D, and Monday will take over the decks and open up a sonic landscape of the years in which we transformed from Yugoslavs into Europeans, from kids into adults. Each of them bringing their own perspective on transition and post-transition life.

LEVEL 47 x KAPA: GEORDIE GREEP (UK)

LEVEL 47 x KAPA: GEORDIE GREEP (UK)

+ Nejc Pipp (SI) & Co. @ Gala Hala

Level Up in Kapa present the first-ever Slovenian show by windmill scene pioneer and former driving force of black midi, Geordie Greep.

The concert will be opened by Nejc Pipp & Co.

For fans of black midi, David Byrne, Frank Zappa, Scott Walker…

After the breakup of black midi, Geordie Greep surprised with his solo debut The New Sound, a record that delivers exactly what its title promises. It is a maximalist blend of jazz-funk, post-punk, samba, and Broadway-style theatricality, replacing the chaotic guitar riffs of black midi with danceable polyrhythms and bold arrangements featuring more than thirty instrumentalists.

The line between parody and sermon is deliberately blurred, as Greep transforms into a twisted yet suave lounge singer, dissecting male despair and fantasies of control through a series of bizarre vignettes that inevitably collapse into absurdity. As he puts it: “Music can be anything you want.” He simply chose everything at once.

“A relentless, kaleidoscopic, vibrant fever dream.” 9/10 – The Needle Drop
“Might just be the great sonic flex of the decade so far.” – Devin Birse, Post-Trash

The evening will open with Nejc Pipp, a Škofja Loka–based vocalist emerging as one of the strongest young authorial voices in Slovenia. Originally a production-driven project in the vein of Frank Ocean, his live performance evolves into a full instrumental ensemble, transforming electronic foundations into a rich blend of dreamy indie, soft R&B, ambient textures, and melancholic jazz.

“An exceptional album of independent pop on a global level.” – Miroslav Akrapović, SIGIC

Music policy: jazz / funk / experimental / rock / fusion / R&B / indie

MAKEDONSKA NOЌ

XAJKA
KORKA
DIVOGRADBA
NATIGO DAJMIGO (jam)
+after BLAGCH

Welcome to Makedonska Noḱ 2026!

On Friday, July 10, Gala Hala will host four outstanding acts from North Macedonia’s alternative music scene. Expect four distinct live performances, followed by an afterparty that will keep the night going well into the early hours.

XAJKA

Xajka is a four-piece post-punk band from Skopje, formed in 2018 by a group of high school friends. What began as a casual collaboration quickly evolved into one of the most exciting new bands in North Macedonia, leading to the release of their debut EP Непрекинато Движење (Continuous Movement) in 2020, followed by Антиталент (2021) and Мека Машина (Soft Machine, 2023).

Their music combines post-punk with experimental electronics, driving rhythms, and fast tempos. Alongside their studio releases, Xajka have become known for unpredictable, improvisation-heavy live performances.

KORKA

Korka return to Gala Hala with their loud and uncompromising five-piece lineup from Kočani. Drawing inspiration from ’90s dissonant noise rock and the raw energy of alternative rock, the band tells the story of their antihero Risto through crushing riffs and abrasive vocals on their debut EP.

Blending brutality, restless energy, and themes of apathy that reflect the realities of today’s youth, Korka’s DIY spirit, dark atmosphere, and lyrics—ranging from absurdist humour to sharp social commentary—have established them as one of the freshest voices on the Macedonian alternative scene.

DIVOGRADBA

A sonic assault from Skopje—at times delicate, at others ferocious—leading inevitably to cathartic movement. That’s the experience Divogradba serve.

Galloping drums and thunderous bass provide the foundation for guitars that crackle, tear apart, and embrace all at once, leaving no room for indifference.

“Glory to the Exalted One, glory to Him, glory to Him!” they proclaim.

Following their self-titled EP, the band is currently working on their debut full-length album. Originally formed in 2021, disbanded in 2022, and reassembled in 2025, Divogradba return with a renewed lineup and a fresh burst of creative energy.

NATIGO DAJMIGO

The evening opens with a Macedonian-Slovenian coalition featuring members of the Mrtov Konj collective alongside members of the local band mal pre mal, setting the tone before the night unfolds into a celebration of contemporary Macedonian underground music.
